Een prachtig gestileerde fles vol mousserende wijn gemaakt volgens de Methode Traditionelle, dus met 2e vergisting op fles.
Deze mousserende Riesling is een blend van oogstjaren 2011 en 2013. Het is alsof de Kundersteen in de wijngaardgrond je toespreekt, en dan is de term mineralig nooit ver weg. Dit is alles wat Riesling zo mooi maakt: frisse zuren, rijp boomgaard- en steenfruit, met een aangenaam bittertje aan het eind. En dat alles omlijst met zachte bubbels. Genieten!
Eigenlijk zou je deze Eyra even in een karaf moeten beluchten, dan geeft deze wijn zich pas echt goed bloot en ervaar je de ware complexiteit ervan. Uitstekend als aperitief, maar ook zeker geschikt om aan tafel mee verder te gaan bij diverse gerechten met salades, vis, schaal- en schelpdieren.

This sparkling Riesling, made using the 'Methode Traditionelle', is a blend of 2011 and 2013 vintages. It is as if you can hear the chalk in the vineyard’s soil speak to you, so the term ‘mineral’ is never far off. This is what makes Riesling wines so unique: a fresh acidity, ripe deciduous fruits and stone fruit, with a pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. All enveloped in soft bubbles. Pure natural enjoyment!
When this Eyra is first decanted and left to rest for a moment, the wine will really reveal its identity and you can experience its full complexity. An excellent glass of wine as an aperitif or matching beautifully with salads, fish, crustaceans, and shellfish, but it also offers a surprising contrast with white meat.
